V. Melgaço Alvarinho White Reserve 2019
Harvest: Manual cutting for 25kg boxes (max.)
Vinification: Skin maceration of de-stemmed grapes. Pressing the masses until reaching a pressure of 0.8 bars, static decantation for 24 hours at 14ºC.
Fermentation: In a stainless steel tank, with a controlled temperature of 17ºC, until the sugars are completely split.
Aging: In stainless steel vats, with bâtonnage for 1 month, then remaining for another 4 months, until preparation for bottling. Additionally, 2 months of aging in the bottle.
Grapes: Alvarinho
Alcohol Content: 13%
Capacity: 75cl
Tasting Notes: Citrine in color, with slight yellow tones and a complex aroma, with the presence of stone fruit and a small touch of citrus, tropical and floral, we can taste an engaging, full-bodied wine with acidity well attenuated by its sweetness.
