It is ideal for drinking as a digestive, neat or with ice, but it is also excellent for cocktails, giving them its unique character, aroma and flavor.
VITICULTURAL YEAR
The 2021 viticultural year was characterized by very low production due to the beginning of a year of extreme drought where there was almost no rain in autumn and winter and the spring was extremely wet and cold. Budding occurred with a delay of about 3 weeks. The months of March to June had above-average precipitation that maintained the delay of the growing season until the ripening period, but replaced the water levels in the soil that were available to the plants. However, periods of intense rain and some weather phenomena caused a large loss of production, which in some vineyards was total. Ripening occurred in dry and very hot weather. Harvest began in early September for white grape varieties and mid-September (12th to 15th) for red grapes. The good weather that lasted until the end of the harvest meant that the grapes arrived at the cellar in very good condition and, consequently, wines of very good quality.
