Vinification: This wine comes from selected grapes in the oldest vineyards in the Borba region. After rigorous control of the maturation evolution of the grapes in the vineyard, upon arrival at the winery the grapes were de-stemmed and gently crushed, followed by the alcoholic fermentation process in a stainless steel press, with mechanical treading, ending in maceration for 10 days, under temperature control at 22-25oC. Malolactic fermentation took place in a small volume stainless steel tank. Aging for 6 months in new French, American and brown oak barrels prior to bottling and a final aging in the cellar for 6 months in bottle.

Tasting Notes: Garnet color with great depth.

Aroma of good intensity revealing ripe red fruits, jam and ripe peppers.

Soft, elegant flavor with emphasis on flavors of black fruits, coffee and chocolate, with a fine and persistent structure in the aftertaste.
