Winemaking: Grapes selected from vineyards certified for the production of DOC Alentejo wine in the Borba sub-region, were harvested manually in the morning, allowing a good temperature in the fruit upon arrival at the winery. The grapes were de-stemmed with slight crushing, followed by a 12-hour skin maceration in a stainless steel tank at 10ºC. After bleeding and gentle pressing, the tear must fermented separately, 60% in Portuguese, American and French oak barrels, 40% in stainless steel vats with a controlled temperature at 15ºC. The wine in barrels after fermentation continued to age for 6 months in the same barrels, after which the final batch was made with the remaining wine. After filtration, bottling was carried out.
Tasting Notes: Clear appearance, well-defined red color. Aroma with good intensity of wild fruits with a slight spicy floral.
Balanced flavor of young wine, spicy toasted notes, with floral and harmonious fruity acidity that persists.
