This wine is produced from grapes of the Espadeiro, Azal Tinto and Padeiro varieties produced in the Amarante Sub-Region. The grapes are carefully crushed and fermented at controlled temperatures in our winery in Amarante. This winemaking process is called “bica Aberto”. The result is a light salmon colored wine, with a bright appearance and slight effervescence.
The Amarante Sub-Region is made up of a set of valleys dominated by the Douro and Tâmega rivers. The distance from the Atlantic Ocean and the fact that it is located against the Marão mountain range means that this Sub-Region has unique temperature and humidity conditions within the Vinho Verde Region. The soils are poor and almost exclusively of sandy granite origin, which facilitates the drainage of rainwater. All these conditions ensure that the grapes have adequate and balanced maturation, resulting in elegant, complex and mineral wines.
TEST RESULTS
Lerya Vinho Verde Rosé is a young wine with a delicate aroma with notes of wild fruits. It is a balanced and very versatile wine and can be consumed on all occasions, both as an aperitif and to accompany any light meal.
