Considered one of the best Portuguese old spirits, Ferreirinha Aguardente Velha de Vinhos Verdes has an attractive golden yellow color, with greenish tones, typical of prolonged aging in wooden casks. It is a delicate spirit, with a rich aroma dominated by vinous notes, softened and complexed by its aging through oxidation in wooden vessels. Despite its long aging, it is a smooth spirit with a fine and delicate finish, presenting the final persistence typical of an old Vinho Verde brandy of excellent quality.

Longevity: Indeterminable. It is ready to be consumed, it does not benefit from aging in the bottle. As long as it is under suitable conditions, it can be stored for many years without changing its characteristics.

Winemaking:
This brandy comes from selected reserves since 1948 (vinho verde). Distillation in Charentais stills, using the Cognac technique. Aging in French oak casks.
Tasting Note:
Rich and complex aroma, with a predominance of the wine's primary and tertiary notes resulting from oxidation in contact with wood. Smooth in the mouth, with a fine and delicate finish, presenting a persistence typical of a brandy produced with green wines.
