TEST RESULTS
Bright golden color, with brick nuances. Intense aroma of excellent complexity, highlighting notes of spices, such as pepper, ginger and nutmeg, balsamic wax and tobacco box, slightly aniseed, and light notes of very ripe red fruits. Mouth with excellent volume, vibrant acidity, lots of spices, particularly pepper, light jam, with an extremely elegant and almost infinite finish.
VINIFICATION
After de-stemming and crushing, the grapes are sent to stainless steel vats and presses where alcoholic fermentation takes place. During this phase, a gentle maceration is carried out at a controlled temperature to extract the compounds existing in the skins. Balance and harmony, as well as structure, are obtained through the selection of grapes and the choice of when to stop fermentation, with the addition of wine brandy.
MATURATION
The wines are aged in the cellars, in Vila Nova de Gaia, in traditional oak casks, measuring approximately 640 Liters. During this period, they are frequently subjected to transfers, analyzes and tests, which make it possible to monitor their evolution. The final batch is generally obtained using wines aged between 25 and 40 years, in order to obtain the quality and Ferreira style with an average age of 30 years.

SERVE
