Test results
White Porto Ferreira has a beautiful straw-yellow color and fresh but intense aromas, with attractive floral and fruit nuances. Soft and very balanced in the mouth, it is a rich and full wine, with the complexity and nobility that comes from careful aging in wood.
Maturation
The wine is in the Douro where the cold of winter helps deposit the lees. The following spring, after cleaning, it is transported to the Ferreira cellars in V.N.Gaia and placed in oak barrels where it will age over several years, acquiring the incomparable style of the Ferreira brand. During aging, the wines are cared for and tasted by the oenology team who blend them until reaching the final batch with the characteristics and style of Porto Ferreira Branco. The selected wines are normally aged between 2 and 5 years, guaranteeing a rich and balanced final wine, aged around 3 years.
Save
Closed with a bar stopper, the bottle should be stored upright, avoiding direct light and excessive humidity, ideally at a constant temperature between 16ºC-18ºC.
Serve
Porto Ferreira Branco is bottled ready to consume and does not need to be aged. Serve cold between 6ºC-10ºC. Once opened, it must be consumed within 1 month.
