DELIVERY AND RETURN POLICY

DELIVERY:

Adega Vinhateira(AV)

Purchases in the physical store: hand delivery;

Purchases on the website: www.adegavinhateira.pt shipping by courier.

 

1) After making a purchase on the website www.adegavinhateira.pt, Adega Vinhateira(AV) does not guarantee that the products displayed on the website will be available on the date of processing the order, as the order is only processed after confirmation of the payment, the customer will be immediately contacted by AV in order to find the most appropriate solution. Orders will only be processed after effective receipt of payment.

2)Payment: Payment for products on the AV website and delivery fees can be made through the following means:

-PayPal

-Credit cards

-MB Way

-Multibanco - Entity and Reference

-Bank transfer

-Cash (only in physical store)

3)Delivery: When placing the order you will be informed of the shipping cost to the address you mention during the checkout process and this includes transport and delivery of your order.

Orders to any EU country include VAT.

Our company is subject to paying VAT in each EU country where we sell.

Furthermore, all the products we sell are already legal for the consumer market with taxes paid, which means that we are authorized to sell our products to any country within the EU. For non-EU countries (outside the EU), you should get in touch to find out what customs fees and taxes are payable in your country.

4) The prices shown include the shipping cost for each order, which is calculated depending on the weight and delivery address of the order. Delivery is free if the order exceeds €150 for mainland Portugal. The shipping cost is indicated at checkout (completion of the order).

5) All orders placed on the AV website have a maximum payment period of 4 days. After this period, the order will be automatically cancelled.

6) DELIVERY TIME: AV makes every effort to ensure the delivery of orders within the following deadline:

- Around 72 hours (working days) in mainland Portugal;

- Approximately 15 working days on the Islands of Madeira and Azores*

- Around 72 hours to Spain (except islands);

- Around 4 to 6 business days other European countries;

- Approximately 15 days worldwide (countries outside Europe)

* Orders over 2kg will be shipped by sea.

Orders are processed after payment confirmation. If payment is made during the weekend, the order will be processed on the next business day. All products sent by AV must be checked upon delivery. If you find that your order is damaged, you must immediately return it to the transport company, duly justify the reason for the return on the delivery note and immediately notify AV. The Carrier will return the damaged order to AV. As soon as the order is received and the anomaly is verified, a new order will be sent. In this case there will be delays due to the sending of a new order.

DEVOLUTION:

1) The Customer may cancel their order at any time up until delivery, except for personalized orders, with the right to a refund of the amount paid, exercising the right of free resolution granted to them under the terms of Decree-Law No. 24 /2014, February 14th.

The customer must inform AV of the return through the following means below and always in writing. We do not accept returns informed by telephone. We do not accept returns without prior notice. Return costs are borne by the customer.

AV accepts to exchange any products purchased within 14 days of receipt of the order, which have not been tampered with, and are accompanied by the original packaging in perfect condition. If the return does not meet our requirements, we will not consider returning the order. Sweets or other products whose expiry date is within 5 days are excluded.

If there is an attempt to tamper with a returned product, only after analysis and laboratory results will we be able to resend a new product to exchange the returned one. Verification in the laboratory may take 15 to 30 days. Returns are subject to a shipping fee, which is the responsibility of the person sending the products. If an anomaly is confirmed in the product, the shipping costs will be refunded to the customer by AV.

2)The following must be taken into account with some products that may lose quality and even become unfit for consumption if, after opening the bottle or packaging, they are not consumed within the deadline. Note that some products after opening the packaging must be stored in the refrigerator.

Weather conditions e.g. Heat can deteriorate products. Respect the storage conditions so that when you use them they are in perfect condition.
